TCA+A uniquely combines rigorous academics with professional-level arts training at no cost. Our Grammy Award-winning Texas Boys Choir, established in 1946, demonstrates our commitment to excellence. No prior professional training is required. Auditions assess artistic potential, passion, and commitment to learning rather than existing skill level. We seek students who demonstrate enthusiasm for the arts and willingness to work hard.

Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts (grades 3-12) is located at 3901 S Hulen St, Fort Worth, TX 76109. Texas School of the Arts (grades K-5) is located at 6025 Village Parkway, Edgecliff Village, TX 76134. Both serve the greater Fort Worth area.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Texas Center for Arts + Academics supports a Texas charter school district which includes two nationally ranked, tuition-free charter schools: Texas School of the Arts and Fort Worth Fine Arts Academy. Together, these schools provide arts and academics to over 1,000 students. TCA+A also supports the Grammy award-winning Texas Boys Choir, the Singing Girls of Texas, and our Fine Arts Conservatories.

We believe that fostering artistic expression in children is a worthy endeavor that produces empathic, well rounded adults and creative thinkers.
