TCA+A has created new funding opportunities to support our greatest resource – OUR FACULTY! Because both FWAFA and TeSA are charter schools, we do not receive as much funding as a traditional school district. In fact, our schools receive close to $700 less per student each year than a Texas independent school district receives. This means we miss out on more than $650,000 each year in funding that could go directly to teachers.

 

Funds raised will go straight to our faculty and will be awarded in the fall of 2022. In time, we hope this pool will grow, allowing TCA+A to offer monetary awards for teachers celebrating their 5, 10, and 15+ anniversaries with our schools. Attracting and retaining top talent is our priority.
