Greetings FWAFA Family,
Hope your week is off to a great start!
I’d like to give a BIG FWAFA Shout-out to this year’s school Spelling Bee winners – Emma McNatt (middle school) and Khara Lay (elementary school). Congratulations!
I would also like to give everyone an update on the Intruder Detection audit. I am happy to announce that FWAFA passed with a 100%. The audit included a random outside door check by the auditor, a door check of all of the exterior doors with the auditor accompanied by me, and a review of our Weekly Exterior Door Check spreadsheet. We scored 100% on all three elements of the audit. I want to thank all of our students, teachers, and staff for remaining vigilant about keeping our exterior doors closed at all times. Thank you!
On another safety note, we are implementing a new “See Something, Say Something” reporting app called Anonymous Alerts. The mobile apps and web-based reporting system provides secure 1-way or 2-way encrypted messages, increasing the flow of important information to FWAFA admin.
Message topics for submission may include bullying, cyber-bullying, family difficulties, self-harm, drug/alcohol abuse, student depression, or strange/abnormal student behavior. All communication on the app is anonymous and is sent directly to Ms. Wallace, our Assistant Principal, and to me.
We see the message immediately as it is sent to us both via email and text message. To download the app, go to your App store or to the Play store and search for Anonymous Alerts. The activation code is fwafinearts.
Lastly, please watch your speed in and around campus on the neighborhood streets. Let’s all stay safe!
Lots of fun things happening at our school in the upcoming weeks! Check it out below.
Have a magnificently Magical Week!

Creatively yours,
Dr. Jackson
