Fort Worth, TX – February 23, 2021

Jackson Layton, FWAFA Junior and Thespian President, recently requested a proclamation from Mayor Betsy Price to name March as Theatre in Our Schools Month, a program promoted by the Educational Theatre Association.

A current Texas State Thespian Officer (STO), Jackson has joined his fellow STOs in efforts to have Theatre in our Schools Month declared in cities across Texas. With an initial goal of 10, the STOs now have proclamations in 13 cities!
