Kimberly Jennings accepts the position of Campus Receptionist/Principal Administrative Assistant.

Texas Center for Arts + Academics (TCA+A) and Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts (FWAFA) are pleased to announce Kimberly Jennings as the new FWAFA Campus Receptionist/Principal Administrative Assistant. Jennings takes over the role previously occupied by Pamela Davis, a radiant and cheerful presence who warmly welcomed students, teachers, staff, and parents, making them all feel at ease for the past two years.

Jennings has a diverse background having served in the military and worked in the hospital district. In addition, she is not a newcomer to the FWAFA family. Jennings takes pride in her 13-year collaboration with both TCA+A schools. At FWAFA, she served in many compacities, including substitute teaching, Special Education Aide, Teaching Assistant, Front Desk Secretary, and Data Controller/PEIMS Coordinator. At Texas School of the Arts (TeSA) her work includes helping to create their library, Data Controller/PEIMS Coordinator and substitute teaching. Her transition to this new role is sure to be smooth and easy as she is already so familiar with the school. In fact, her three daughters attended TeSA before coming to the FWAFA campus. One just graduated from FWAFA and two of them are still FWAFA students.

Jennings says, “I am so happy to be back serving the FWAFA community as your Campus Secretary. FWAFA is where my heart belongs!”

The Campus Receptionist/Principal Administrative Assistant role serves as the initial point of contact for all individuals visiting FWAFA. This individual will maintain their position as the welcoming face upon entering the campus, while also acting as a valuable resource for students in terms of information and attendance. As the assistant to the principal, she will oversee the management of appointments and schedules. Students, teachers, and parents/guardians alike can rely on this individual for general administrative inquiries, and when contacting FWAFA, they will be greeted by her friendly voice. Additionally, this role will act as the liaison for the PTSO and contribute to various special projects.
