What do you love most about this school? My favorite thing about FWAFA is the sense of family. The way teachers invest in the students here is truly inspiring. I hope that all of our students know how deeply they are loved. 

What’s the most exciting part of your current job role? The best part of teaching 4th grade ELAR is fostering a love of reading. I enjoy spending the year helping students develop a passion for books that will last a lifetime! 

Who in the world – dead or alive – inspires you? And why? If I could meet anyone, it would be Dolly Parton! She is one of my favorite music artists, and I admire her dedication to promoting childhood literacy. I would like to talk to her over dinner about her mission to inspire young readers.

 

What are your hobbies? When I am not at school, you’ll often find me at home watching a good reality TV show with my puppies or cooking with my husband.
