Dance Intensive Summer Camp

ABOUT DANCE INTENSIVE SUMMER CAMP:

For Ages 8-18

Monday, July 22 – Friday, July 26

With an equal focus on technique and creative development dancers are guaranteed to see growth in all areas of their dance training. Available to dancers at the intermediate and advanced levels, all morning classes will be grouped by ability and afternoon will be grouped by age. Each class is taught by a highly qualified instructor and mirrors the curriculum that is offered at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and Texas Dance Conservatory. Parents will get to show up early on Friday to see a presentation by the dancers showing what they have worked on that week.

Cost: $375 per student

$350 per student for siblings registered for the same camp

$325 per student when same child registers for multiple TCA+A Summer Camps

Before Care: Starts at 8am ($10 per day)

After Care: Open until 5pm ($10 per day)

Daily Schedule

9:00-10:15 Ballet

10:30-11:45 Jazz

11:45-12:30 Lunch Break

12:30-1:45 Other Dance and Movement Styles

(Different each day/Examples include: Contemporary, Yoga, Strength &
Conditioning, etc)

2:00-4:00 Improvisation and Composition

Supplies Needed:

Dancers will bring their own lunch, water bottle, and snacks each day.

Dress Code:

Tops: Solid colored leotard or form fitting solid colored tank/muscle shirt

Bottoms: Pink tights, black tights, or black leggings

Shoes: Ballet & Jazz shoes
